Intercessory Prayer Items for April 2010

MISSION STATEMENT

1.        To reach men everywhere for Jesus Christ.

2.        To call men back to God.

3.        To train and equip men to fulfill the Great Commission.

4.        To help believers to be baptized in the Holy Spirit and to grow spiritually.

5.        To provide an opportunity for Christian fellowship.

6.        To bring a greater unity among all people in the body of Christ.

Pray that all members are fully committed to the Mission Statement.

MALAYSIA

a.  Pray for  Malaysian churches and all  leaders, for unity in the body of Christ and to usher in revival that God’s is sending in Malaysia.

b.  Pray for Prime Minister and his cabinet members to have the fear of God and wisdom to rule our country with justice.

c.  Transforming the nation into a God fearing people who will not tolerate unrighteousness and corruption.

d.  Pray for Christian political leaders to be steadfast in their faith and practice  righteousness in the government.

FGBMFI/BMFI

Pray for the reconciliation of the FGBMFI / BMFI leadership and for their chapters throughout the world to remain united and faithful to the Vision and Mission.

Pray for the Asian Council Chairman, Khoo Oon Theam for wisdom. Pray for council members of Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Malaysia for unity in the body of Christ.

Every Friday from 7.00 am to 8.00 am there is a Sunrise prayer meeting at our National Office.  All are encourage to come and seek God’s face together.

VOICE / FLAME

Pray for the Publications Committee:- Dr Wong Hong Meng, David Yap, Sunny Cheah and the Chairman of Publications, Michael Cheng.  Pray for members to submit testimonies and news for each issue of Voice and The Flame.  Pray for additional members to serve in the committee

PRAISE ITEMS

Praise the Lord for 26 souls saved for Southern Region, 50 souls saved for Central Region and 9 souls saved for Northern Region at banquets and happiest hour meetings held in March 2010.

FGBMF ASIAN CONVENTION 2010

25^th – 28^th July 2010 – FGBMF Asian Convention cruise with Superstar Star Virgo..  Prayer points as follows:-

a.        God’s wisdom for the Organizing Committee.

b.        Good response from all the FGBMFI members in the Asian countries. 

c.        God’s anointing on the Christian Captains of the industry from the 7 mountains to share on their transforming stories.

d.        Good fellowship and encouragement among the members in the Asian countries.

e.         The success of the convention.

e.        24/4/10 (Saturday) – Tamil Banquet organized by Klang chapters at Carry Island Sri Langat Restaurant. Speaker Rev Philip Jayabalan.

f.         26/4/10 (Monday) – Happiest Hour meeting to be held at Pelangi Indah, JB.  Sharing testimonies.

g.        29/4/10 (Thursday) – Banquet organized by Klang chapters at Hai Thean Lo Restaurant. Speaker Tan Sri Chan Ah Chye.

h.        9/5/10 (Sunday) – Happy Man Chinese-speaking banquet.  Speaker Bro Seow Tong San from Taiwan.

i.         19/5/10 (Wednesday) – Banquet to be held in Kota Kinabalu. Speaker Bro Tony Anthony.   

PRAYER NEEDS

a. Governing Council member, Loh Poh Seng suffered from stroke since 30^th Oct 2006 and still unconscious. Pray for God’s will to be done for his life.

b. Peter Khor’s wife, Lilian pray for speedy recovery from her illness.

c. Dr Chua Wan Tiong, Chapter President of Sitiawan Chapter has done an embolisation operation on 24^th Nov 2009.  He is recovering well and continues to pray for his complete recovery.
